Yoshiko Nakagawa graduated from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. She won 3rd prize in the 1992 Japan woodwind Competition winner, as well as the Ataka Award in 1993. award. She later studied at the Liu El Mal Maison Conservatoire. She performed with the Kansai Philharmonic, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music orchestra, and Kyoen as soloist and Kobe City Chamber Orchestra.
Ms. Nakagawa studied with Kinoshita Yoshimaru, Kinshokoku, Sakuma Yumiko, Meiyuki HiroshiShin, Philippe Pierlot, and Alan Marion.
Since 1995, she has been a flutist with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra.
