Marta Femenía

Marta Femenía completed her studies at the Madrid Conservatory with the highest distinction, graduating summa cum laude. Between 2013 and 2016, she further refined her training at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid under the guidance of Jacques Zoon. In 2016, Her Majesty Queen Doña Sofía personally awarded her the First Prize as the institution’s most outstanding student. In 2017, she won First Prize at the Juventudes Musicales de España Competition.

In 2019, she obtained her Master’s degree with distinction in the class of Professor Davide Formisano at the Stuttgart University of Music, where she subsequently continued her studies in the Konzertexamen program, which she completed with distinction. She has performed in numerous national and international concert series and has appeared frequently as a soloist. As an academy member, she played with the Spanish National Orchestra and the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also been repeatedly invited to perform with orchestras such as the Spanish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Spanish National Orchestra, the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mannheim National Theatre Orchestra, the Baden Philharmonic Pforzheim, the Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen, the Kiel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lübeck Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Hamburg State Philharmonic Orchestra. During the 2023–24 season, she served as Principal Flute of the Badische Staatskapelle Karlsruhe. Since January 2024, she has been Principal Flute of the Lüneburg Symphony Orchestra. Marta Femenía performs on a 10K gold Sankyo flute.
